Personal Notes: I have been living in Orkney for 8 years now, and I work as a midwife. I have been married and have 2 sons, 1 daughter and 2 grandsons. Life up here can be lonely at times especially in the winter months as travelling is dependent on the weather. I lived on one of the small islands for 5 years and kept a smallholding so I was delivering lambs and babies! My brother Brian and sister Ann also attended William Torbitt school so I'd be pleased to hear from anyone who might remember us.
