Personal Notes: Lived in Roy Gardens in a flat facing onto the school fields. I was in the cubs and scouts at 1st Aldborough Hatch. Was addicted like many to the 1d crisps from Aldborough Stores (The Crack Cocaine of the 50's???) Sat the 11+ at Downshall on a bitterly cold day, made worse by abject terror!
Passed, went to Ilford County High, moved to Barkingside around 59/60. Left Home/Barkingside in 68 and have lived in West London till now. Loved the site as it brought back some happy memories.
