Personal Notes: Have never strayed far from WT. as I live in Seven Kings. My mother still lives in Newbury Park and my Aunt in Bawdsey Avenue. My brother David, moved to Chelmsford.
I passed 11 plus by the skin of my teeth and went to Romford Tech. David passed 2 years later and went to Wanstead County High. We came to the school late having moved into the area and I found it difficult making friends. Mr Chivers was wonderful and Mr Cowan too.
I enjoyed the orchestra and now perform at the Kenneth More Theatre on a regular basis as a singer/actress. A very keen amateur, I intend to spend more time with this hobby now that I have taken early retirement from Banking.
I have a grown up son and my brother has 2 daughters.
