Personal Notes: Went to Beal Grammar School after WT, then on to what was then South West Essex Tech from where I got an external London University degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Started work at Marconi Co., Great Baddow where, due to an HR mix up (why doesn't that surprise me), I ended up in the computer section. Discovered a talent for computer programming and spent my entire career in the IT industry, progressing from programmer, through software development management, project and programme management, ending up in IT Consultancy. Retired last October (hurrah!)
Met Judy, now my wife, at Marconi and we celebrate our 32nd wedding anniversary this year.
Very sorry to have missed the WT reunion - would have loved to be there.
