Personal Notes: Born April 10 1931 at 40 Lancing Road, Newbury Park, Ilford, Essex.
Scool sports champion 1940 or 41. Further education was at Clarks College, Cranbrook Rd.,Ilford. Married 1955 divorced 1984 two children boy and girl. Apprenticed compositor at The Ilford Pictorial after National Service in the REME, serving in Duisberg,Germany.Later employed until 1959 at the Ilford Recorder, migrating to Australia 1959 Working as Linotype Operator for The Examiner newspaper who transferred me to (then) Northern Television (TNT-9) as chief cine cameraman. I retired in 1996 (now 75 years of age) After arriving in Tasmania started a martial arts school of Ai ki do in !960 which my son Paul now runs, but I still take classes for the exercise.My first teacher was Miss Bray, and was taught art by Mr. Davis. During WWII air raids we had lessons in the corridors of the school.
