Hello out there. Such fond memories of such a great and charasmatic school which has forged some very talented people over the years. I am overwhelmingly delighted that after all these years that it is still going strong. Bravo! Life presents us with all sorts of challeges and what does'nt kill us only makes us stronger. I am living now in the central Australian desert. I am single, and funny enough been thinking about my childhood sweetheart, then known as Lesely Cope. I wonder where she is. Could anyone assist me in how I could contact her. it has been a long time. Yours Sincerely, Graham Browne

I am trying on behalf of John Bretton to find out if there is anyone who remembers him from his time at William Torbitt School, he was there from 1946 to 1952. John now lives in New Orleans and I have traced him after a 2 year search he was a friend of mine at a cycling group in the 1950-1960's in the Ilford area. He used to live in Newbury Park and had a brother Peter and sister Hazel. He is interested in any news from people who knew him.
I can be contacted email thomas@squaredancer.freeserve.co.uk

Message for Nisha Bhamra who left a message on the 'Memories' Board:- Nisha wrote: "My friend jenna told me that on this website there is information on something. A long time ago there was a graveyard and now if you go into the school at a disco or in the evening and you say bad words dead people come and if you walk with them you die instantly. ".
Nisha - I've never heard of any such ghost tale or graveyard and think your friend is just trying to frighten you.
