Sadly, my old school teacher from 2nd Year Juniors - David Youles died on 21st April, aged 57. He was my teacher in the academic year 1969/70.
I met him again socially about 3 years ago. He's in two of the class photos on the 'school photos' page.
He was a career school teacher for 35 years and very dedicated.

I would just like to say how shocked and saddened I am at the death of Andrew. I have been in touch with Andrew for a few months and am glad to say he was still be same friendly and clever person he was at school. I am sure everyone what was at school with his will be equally stunned at this awful news.

I'm intrigued by the thread about David Kayler and the message from John Shiell. He lived at 137 Brian Road. Well my parents lived at 138 and still live there !! I remember David quite well. I believe he had a sister. I may be able to find out more from my parents but Roy Tyzack probably knows him best.

David was a mate of mine when he lived at Brian Road, Chadwell Heath. I lived at 137 further down.
